Disney’s ALADDIN will present its second dedicated Autism-Friendly performance on Tuesday 28th August 2018 at 1.30pm.
Back in August 2017, ALADDIN partnered with The National Autistic Society to create a friendly and supportive environment to enjoy Disney’s spectacular new West End musical at its first special Autism-Friendly Performance. This specially adapted performance was suitable for people with autism, with trained staff on hand, and dedicated quiet and activity areas set up should anyone need to leave their seats.
Although specifically created for patrons affected by autism, conditions during this Autism-Friendly Performance are similar to those during a “Relaxed” performance, and as such this performance may be of interest to patrons with learning disabilities. All patrons who feel this performance might suit their specific needs are warmly encouraged to attend. Explore the resources on this page to find out more.
The Prince Edward Theatre – the home of ALADDIN – is a recipient of the National Autistic Society’s Autism Friendly Award, a prestigious scheme for organisations who strive to be more accessible to autistic people and their families.
Please note that enhanced security measures are in place at the Prince Edward Theatre. Find out more in our FAQ section.
Breathtaking sets, astonishing special effects, over 350 lavish costumes and a fabulous cast and orchestra bring the magic of Disney’s ALADDIN to life on the West End stage.
Featuring all the hits from the classic Academy Award®-winning film including ‘Friend Like Me’, ‘A Whole New World’ and ‘Arabian Nights’, prepare to experience the unmissable ‘theatrical magic’ (Daily Telegraph) that is ALADDIN.
